Seen yesterday evening in a Munich subway station

An old man, obviously a bum, lying on the stairs bleeding from his head, and a black man kneeling beside him holding a handkerchief to the man's brow to staunch the flow of blood.

The old man was shouting "Get off me you black bastard! Heil Hitler!"

I'm just watching a newsflash on the Bayerisches Fernsehen, and I'm appalled.

The Interviewer is feeding lines to the Bavarian minister of finance.

Capitalizing on the recent public service strikes, he gets to answer questions like "What do you think about the strike continuing in the face of the curent snow chaos" and "How long can this dangerous and reckless behaviour be allowed to continue".

The interviewer sounds like she's mechanically reading off a prompter.

I have never been this disgusted by television. The unbelievable fucking abount of unabashed shameless propaganda makes me want to kick the people responsible in the nuts with steel-capped boots.
